Interior
Project 3
The client requested a more modern and clean look for their family room that would tie the kitchen, eating space and family room architecturally, spatially and in overall style.
The wall color were lightened and matched the kitchen, light oak flooring was stained darker and white caps on the half walls and crown molding was replaced with cherry to match bookcases, fireplace mantel and kitchen cabinets. The columns between the family room and adjacent hallway were 3 different colors; visually complicating the space. They were painted a single color along with the adjacent hallway camouflaging the columns appearance. A blend of contemporary and traditional furniture adds to the eclectic modern look.
